Virginia Wine Lover magazine listed HSF’s Winter Wine festival as one of the top three wine festivals in the Shenandoah Valley.
More and more people are choosing Virginia wines. In 2012, Virginia was named one of the top 10 wine destinations in the world by Wine Enthusiast.  Participating vineyards in this year’s Winter Wine Festival include Beliveau, Democracy, DuCard, Lexington Valley, Mattaponi, North Mountain, OxEye, Rockbridge, Stanburn, and Wicked Oak Farms.

This festival offers the opportunity to taste and compare award-winning wines from distinct regions of Virginia.  Participating cider producers: Bold Rock Cider and Foggy Ridge Cider.  New this year is tastings from Virginia Devil's Backbone and Starr Hill breweries - both award winning craft brewers at the Great American Beer Festival and the Virginia Craft Brewers Festival.

Providing generous access to the vendors, the event features a select group of wine, cider, and beer producers from both sides of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the comfort of the historic Stonewall
Jackson Hotel.

Last year, festivalgoers came from all over Virginia and nine other states to spend the day in Staunton, taste wine, dine in the local restaurants, and shop downtown.
